Our Story
The story of Neelkanth Sarees began in 1999, when our founder, Sunil Thacker, started selling sarees on the streets of the small village of Kera, Kutch, Gujarat under the name Shreeji Sale. Driven by determination, honesty, and an unwavering belief in serving customers with care, he soon established Shreeji Sarees & Dresses in a rented shop. As the trust of our customers grew, so did our journey—expanding into a larger two-floor store in 2009, followed by a beautifully renovated three-floor showroom in 2015, creating one of the finest shopping experiences in the region.
The challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic became the turning point that inspired us to dream even bigger. In 2021, we moved to Bhuj, opening a rented showroom at Panjrapole Street, Vaniyawad. Just a year later, in July 2022, with the blessings of our customers and the unwavering support of our family, we proudly opened the doors to our own three-floor showroom at Thobh Street, Vaniyawad, Bhuj—marking the birth of Neelkanth Sarees as a destination where tradition, quality, and elegance come together.
Today, Neelkanth Sarees is more than a fashion showroom—it is the result of decades of hard work, resilience, and countless relationships built on trust. Every saree, lehenga, and outfit we offer reflects our commitment to quality, authenticity, and heartfelt service. From a small street business in Kera to a trusted name in Kutch, our journey has been woven together by the love of our customers. As we continue to grow, we remain dedicated to making every celebration more beautiful, carrying forward the same values that started our story over two decades ago.
